Welcome! 🌈 The University of Canterbury Rainbow Engineering Society is a club for all students interested in forming connections within the rainbow community within engineering at the University of Canterbury, whether studying engineering or not. The objectives of this club are: To create a network of LGBTQ+ students and allies studying within the Faculty of Engineering at UC, who can support each other in their studies. To promote the importance of diversity and inclusion in engineering and related fields. To enrich university life for members through social events. To provide a safe place for discussion. Please fill out this form to nominate yourself for a position on the 2026 UC Rainbow Engineering Exec Team as our First-Year Representative. As our First-Year Representative, you'll get the opportunity to: Represent views of first years to the Committee; Learn about the duties of other Committee members, whose roles they may be interested in filling the following year; Assist with other club duties where required. You must be enrolled, or intend to be enrolled, in an engineering degree throughout the year of 2026. This form will close at midnight on Sunday the 8th of March.
