Noem een techno-dj die géén platen van Steve Rachmad in zijn collectie heeft, of anders tenminste van zijn ontelbare aliassen. Op Dekmantel draait de Amsterdamse dj en producer onder zijn alter ego Sterac een b2b met mede-veteraan Benny Rodrigues. We duwen hem een A La Carte-menu onder de neus: zeven gangen waarin hij zelf een vraag mag kiezen om te beantwoorden. Een gesprek over de veranderende muziekindustrie, de uitkomst van Youtube-tutorials, the frequency of love (444 Hz), en de spirituele ontwaking die bijna een decennium geleden zijn leven veranderde. ‘Veel mensen die produceren staren zich blind op grafieken. Dan mis je het gevoelsniveau.’
