Designed to foster community spirit and recognize the dedication of our club members, this event promises a day of fun, relaxation, and bonding. Date: June 1st, 2024 Time: 6:00 PM- 8:30Pm Meeting Point: Brownstones at 6:00 PM This retreat is our way of celebrating the hard work and commitment of our club members throughout the quarter. Whether you've been a regular attendee at meetings, participated in our book club discussions, or volunteered your time at events, this is our chance to show appreciation for your contributions. Every Tuesdays from 10:00am-2:00pm Start Date: January 16, 2024 End Date: March 11, 2024 Participants: 15 members from DePaul Community (all in person), and 15 members from CCJ in a space. Origins of Book Club: The Inside-Out program is an international program that was started at Temple University in Philadelphia in 1997. DePaul has offered Inside-Out courses since 2012 and is one of two universities in Illinois that offers this program. This book club was originally inspired by a desire to increase engagement between outside and inside community members beyond the Inside-Out program and outside of a traditional classroom setting.
