My name is Samantha Grimwood, I am a practicing artist and Curator. This channel is an archival space for my conversations, journey and any other parts of my artistic experience. I exist in two forms within the creative realm, there is the artist who creates and the curator who curates. These forms exist in tandem and inform and shape the other. As an artist I experiment with many mediums. My interest in a material or medium starts the creative process. Working with it encourages the want to understand its origin and experiment with the way it is situated in the current dialogues of contemporary art. My creative process evolves with my practice as my interests shift. The context of the works explore the reality that they exist in but pose questions for the viewer to ponder in their experience with the work. In this place of questioning I, as the artist, act as a witness to the dialogue of the work in relation to the viewer and its space.
