Hey there! Thank you so much for taking the time to fill out this application and for expressing your interest in being a board member for the Pride Under the Hood Initiative - Queer Car Workshop! Our number one goal is to facilitate a safe space for LGBTQIA+ folx to teach one another about basic car mechanics. As of right now we are holding workshops the 2nd Sunday of the month at the Eastside Branch of the Lexington Public Library. Since we started our outreach and organizing in August of 2023, we have received so much support and gained a lot of interest. With that being said, we want this to continue growing, but in order for us to grow we need to build our community and the amount of folx organizing to make this happen. That's where you come in!
