Paperilo is a music project from Gentry David and Pete Krausert. Formed in Minneapolis, Paperilo began as a creative outlet for long time musical collaborators Gentry David and Pete Krausert. Paperilo have released a string of EPs swinging from full-fledged rock bangers to delicate synth-pop ballads. In the summer of 2018, based on the strength of their EPs, Paperilo were chosen by Ace Enders (of The Early November) for a day of production and recording in Hammonton, New Jersey. Working with Enders, Paperilo recorded their single “Broadway,” which was released on New Year’s Eve 2020. While in New Jersey, Paperilo wrote their new single, “Jersey.” Recorded by Justin Muffett in Paperilo’s home city of Minneapolis, “Jersey” is a heavy-hitting number that proves Paperilo’s versatility and certifies them as true rockers.
