Geological Chart & Cloud Classification first published circa 1893. Featuring a cross section of of the earth where geologic time is illustrated in eons (archaeon), eras (Paleozoic, Mesozoic, Cenozoic), periods (Cambrian, Triassic, Quaternary, etc.), and epochs (Eocene, Miocene, Pliocene). Types of beds and groups that make up these periods of geologic time are included as are the types of animal fossils that can be found. Rock and geologic elements are clearly labelled (limestone, sandstone, chalk, salt, etc.) Also illustrated - geysers and volcanoes, formations of birds and a key below to classify the four primary cloud groups.

Principal Eminences of the British Islands first published circa 1852 by James Reynolds. Drawn and engraved by John Emslie. 72 numbered and named eminences including Scafell Pike & Beachy Head in England, Arthurs Seat & Ben Nevis in Scotland, Beacons of Brecknock & Snowdon in Wales, and Twelve Pins & Cairn Tual & Mt Gabriel in Ireland. Height in feet detailed at each side of the illustration. The smaller figures denote the Geological Formations of the Hills - ie. 1.Metamorphis Rocks, 2.Cumbrian, 4.Devonian.
