The Ontario Art Therapy Association (OATA) was founded in 1978, which means we’ve represented Art Therapists for 47 years! We are excited to gather in person, to honour our roots, as well as plant seeds of growth and change that advances our profession. Our theme is Nuances: Art Therapy Research and Disability Justice and we are delighted to have Patricia Ki, PhD, for our Keynote Presentation. OATA’s 2025 Conference Retreat is made possible by Art Therapists, Educators and graduate students who are willing to join us as conference contributors. We invite you to consider submitting a proposal for Nuances that bridges arts-based research and disability justice in ways that are trauma-informed and sensorily attuned to embody Art Therapy nuance, and innovative learning.
