Amazingly, there's a brand-new office building in Pioneer Square, which has one of the highest office vacancy rates in the city. The main building of the Metropole, at 423 Second Ave. Ext. S. on the corner of Yesler Way, was developed in 1892 by none other than Henry Yesler.
