Americana and folk-rock artist Grey Jacks releases his most personal and ambitious album to date, INTERgenerational, arriving April 17, 2026 on Antidote Sounds Records. The album, produced by Matt Pence (Jason Isbell, John Moreland, The Breeders), traces Jacks’ own family history through the dust and neon of 1960s Amarillo, Texas. At the center of this sweeping collection is the haunting true story of Jacks’ grandmother, whose suicide and the murder she committed in 1966 left a generational impact that shaped the emotional landscape of his family for decades. Fresh off winning First Prize in the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest for the lyrics to “Run This Town,” Jacks releases the lead singles, “With Who” and “Frankie's Way,” highlighting his signature narrative depth —one exploring belonging across generations, the other portraying a family figure caught in a cycle of fate and inherited grief.
