Dr Rhymz (Inathi Hinana) Born on June 10, 2004, in Khayelitsha Site B and raised between Guguletu and Ottery, Dr Rhymz is one of South Africa’s fresh hip hop voices. His journey began at just 13, rapping Spaza with his older brother before evolving into hip hop during his high school years. By Grade 11 in 2021, he decided to take music seriously, moving from freestyle sessions to shaping his own sound. Blending the raw storytelling of Spaza with the energy of modern rap, Dr Rhymz brings a unique voice that reflects both his roots and his vision for the future. Influenced by township culture and inspired by global hip hop, he’s driven by authenticity, resilience, and passion.
