Hello! Welcome to my channel. Suaimhneas is an Irish word and can be translated as "calm comfort, peace, tranquility, quietness". It captures for me the essence of slower yoga practices which have supported me and soothed my nervous system time and time again, and I would love to share them with you. On my channel you'll find gentle practices of Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Yin Yoga. Yoga isn’t about the shape you can create on the mat, it’s about the feeling that manifests inside, the soothing of the nervous system, and guiding the body back into harmony through space and slowing down. Life is busy, the world can seem noisy, and during the peaks and troughs of life, these practices can accompany us in a supportive soothing way. I hope you find what you need here. Whether you are navigating times of stress and overwhelm, or just need a break, you are most welcome.
