The American Cancer Society at Hunter College is dedicated to helping people who face cancer. Our purpose is to provide support, encourage prevention, promote a healthy lifestyle, foster innovation, discuss cancer disparities, and share stories of researchers and cancer survivors. By working with the nationwide American Cancer Society, we plan to raise awareness of current cancer research and discuss risk, prevention, and screening methods to eliminate cancer. We hope to assist cancer patients by hosting fundraisers and volunteer events and providing them with resources for their care.
