March 2026: Parts and Polarities: Integration from a Gestalt Sand Therapy Framework
March 2026: Parts and Polarities: Integration from a Gestalt Sand Therapy Framework
This experiential workshop introduces a Gestalt sand therapy approach to working with parts, polarities, and integration. Grounded in Gestalt principles of awareness, contact, and phenomenology, participants will explore how parts and polarities emerge organically within sandtray processes as expressions of lived experience rather than fixed internal structures. The training will clarify core Gestalt concepts related to parts and integration and distinguish this framework from other parts-based therapeutic approaches. Through guided experiential exercises, participants will identify and practice embodied facilitation methods that support contact and awareness, differentiation, and integration of parts as they appear symbolically and nonverbally in the sand.
