The Aching Alchemist emerged from the ashes of loss. We lost our boy and it plummeted us into our underworld. To continue our quest as helpers, we had to take the raw, heavy lead of human emotion and find a way to transmute it into something…so that we didn't sink. We started turning to music, a life-long friend there when nobody else was. We yearn to sustain humanity through the wellspring of our helping, no matter what it looks like. This project is just one of our channels: a single stream from a much deeper well. We reflect humanity, distilling the complexities of our shared experience into music, hoping to offer healing and understanding. As humanity evolves, so will we. May you feel a part of yourself here in some song . May the music resonate with the parts of you that have felt forgotten.
