Our Message: Deforestation, biodiversity decline, global warming. On our western radars, these are all distant issues. But the fact is, they're happening now and at an alarming rate. Western society benefits from the consumerist ideals that contribute massively to the issues highlighted above. Due to safety and ease of existence, modern western society has also contributed to a decline in mental well being and sense of worth for some of the more adventurous among us. Those of us that seek out real experiences in uncontrolled environments. It is our mission to explore a shrinking wilderness and in doing so discover a sense of what is missing within ourselves. During this expedition, we hope to draw attention to the human educed, evaporation of our natural environment. An environment that is fundamental not only to human contentment, but to human existence.
