Mudslide is an explosive stoner rock band from Stavanger. After several sporadic single releases and major concerts in Stavanger, such as sold-out gigs at Checkpoint Charlie, and as the opening act for Skambankt at Folken, the tough guys from Stavanger are finally releasing their first album 22. September 2023. Formed in 2018, the band draws inspiration from legends like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Kyuss. While their sound is rooted in 70s stoner rock, the band constantly picks up new influences along the way. This was especially true when they teamed up with Terje Winterstø Røthing and Roar Nilsen as producers throughout the recording process of their debut album at Tou Lyd. To celebrate the album release, Mudslide is embarking on a tour across Norway throughout the year. Their electrifying live performances have already garnered them a dedicated fanbase locally in Stavanger, but now the band is eager to play for more people.
