Lansing Lobby Day is March 12th, 9-2:30 in Lansing, Michigan. Space is limited to 133 this year so register early and is required. NEW in 2026 !! Lobby Day: MiOTA Advocating on the Road: From the Capitol to Communities.. Events will be in both Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids on April 13h from 1:00 - 3:00. Both events are opportunities to network with others, connect with legislators, and share your voice on current advocacy topics impacting the profession of occupational therapy! * A preparation webinar will occur February 10th , 7-8 pm EST. ** All events are FREE for members and non members.

EVENT: MiOTA is hosting an advocacy event with local legislators to discuss current issues impacting OT practice, advocate for OT awareness, and engage in networking opportunities to protect our scope of practice. PURPOSE: To increase advocacy understanding and visibility among legislators and fellow OT practitioners/students in our communities. WHEN:April 13th from 1-3 pm WHERE: (2 locations) Kalamazoo, Michigan (Western Michigan University OT Department) AND Grand Rapids, Michigan (Western Michigan University OT Department) Sign up by 3-20-26! This is a FREE event to all MiOTA members and non members. We encourage your membership to continually support our profession and advocate events!
