2026 Living Future Hero Nominations
2026 Living Future Hero Nominations
The Living Future Hero Award was created to acknowledge and celebrate individuals in the regenerative design community who have dedicated significant time and effort to advancing the Living Future programs and mission. The individuals chosen as our Heroes are current Living Future Members who go above and beyond in advancing regenerative buildings, sustainable materials, and equitable organizations through both advocacy and practice, while championing Living Future projects and products within their communities. This year’s Heroes will be honored during an in-person awards ceremony at Living Future 2026 (April 14-17, 2026 in Seattle, Washington). We invite you to nominate individuals who exceed expectations in environmental advocacy and embody the vision of an equitable living future. You can read about past winners here: 2025, 2023,2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, & Complete list of all past Heroes. Nominations are due January 28, 2026

Living Future is piloting a new program, Declare Equity, which is a product-level label created to bring human rights, fair labor, and social impact to the center of the building materials conversation. Declare Equity represents the next evolution of our work to illuminate what is inside the products we use — and now, who is behind them.
