Do you know a place in Lewisham that is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ young people? Then we want to know about it! Nominate a place that is committed to providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ young people to be themselves, so we can see if they meet out Rainbow Criteria and share this crucial info with the rest of Lewisham! What is the Rainbow Criteria? An award given to places committed to providing a safe space for LGBTQIA+ young people. Celebrating these spaces and helping young people make informed decisions about where they chose to spend their time. Those who receive the Rainbow Criteria will have an emblem to display in their windows; a certificate outlining their commitment and will be listed on our website. You can see a full list of the criteria here. What happens next? Once nominated, our Rainbow Criteria team will review the space to ensure it meets the requirements (as created by our young people), then if successful they will be awarded with the emblem in person.
