The Choir was founded in 1987 as Pastoral Choir by Ms. Irina Shtiglich and former singers of Lubomir Pipkov Choir (nowadays known as Vasil Arnaudov Choir), who were singers also in Bodra smyana children's choir and Sofia girls choir. Irina Stiglich Female Chamber Choir has taken part in multiple individual concerts and performances, has made records for the Bulgarian National Radio and Television broadcasts, and has taken part in numerous international and local festivals. Currently the conductors of the choir are Denitsa Kaburova and Marina Koleva. In 2025 It takes the name IRYS CHOIR.
