All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The ILRC’s Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when ICE agents go to a home. Special thanks to our many partners who contributed translations in the various languages now available, making these red cards accessible to more individuals.

As we continue our work at the field office, we are seeing that people are showing up to their appointments without having had any breakfast. If people are detained, it could be a long time before they get food in their system. As families are coming to look for loved ones, we have found that water, and a quick bite to stabilize blood sugar has made a huge difference to folks. However, many of the volunteers don't have the time or resources to show up each morning with food for everyone. This is how you can help us out!
