Forensic Dorsal Hand Image Comparison | 50 followers on LinkedIn. Exploring Temporal Stability of Features Using a Unique Longitudinal Dataset | Forensic practitioners are experiencing rapidly increasing requests for image comparisons used as evidence in forensic investigations of major crimes, requiring the development of forensically and statistically robust comparison methods. Increasing image quality has enabled hands to be the focus of image comparison, especially in the absence of facial comparison. The project aims to explore the temporal stability of dorsal hand features by developing a feasible analytical framework.
