Gary Manny Scholarship Application
Gary Manny was a lifelong Fort Worth resident and an accomplished educator. He graduated summa cum laude from Polytechnic High School and earned a magna cum laude B.A. from Texas Christian University, followed by a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University. A U.S. Naval Officer from 1967-1975, he later became a dedicated community volunteer and served on the Fort Worth ISD Board of Education, including a term as Board President. During his 16 years on the board, he played a crucial role in significant bond programs and partnerships with local colleges. Requirements: High School Senior, 3.0 GPA or higher, Two Letters of Recommendation, Essay, Interview Scholarship Amount: $2,000 Deadline: March 31, 2026

Badmus & Associates awards scholarships for Dallas-Fort Worth area high school seniors who are immigrants or children of immigrants to attend the college of their choice. In 2026, we are proud to award five (5) American Dream scholarships of $1000 each. Winners are requested to attend the Immigrant Journey Awards Gala.
