Classic City Crime Podcast is a true crime podcast based in Athens, Georgia for people everywhere. Home to the University of Georgia and the birthplace of REM and the B-52s, there are many stories to be told about crimes in “The Classic City”. Hosted by Cameron Jay, the podcast tells the story of the 20-year unsolved murder of Tara Louise Baker from 2001 in Season 1. From there, it the podcast has covered The 1977 Murder of T.K. Harty and the brutal Athens Murders of 1987. Classic City Crime has also discussed the active investigation of the murder of Elijah Wood with both Elijah’s family and Oconee County Sheriff James Hale.
