I have Windows 7 x64 platform. When I start Lingoes (ver 2.9.2), it always says "Request translation services failed." I tried on other platforms (XP, Windows 7 x32, Windows x32 8.1) and everywhere the same situation. Why?
It needs Internet connection for translating texts.
Translation of words is possible also offline if you have downloaded the dictionary needed. But it does not let you translate texts offline, even if you downloaded the dictionary.
