Gintama is heading in a very peculiar direction that I would've never expected coming from a story like itself, as it had seeded its more melancholic and deeper themes throughout its run even its most mundane episodes. The Benizakura movie is a big leap from the episodes that came before, bearing a more serious collar and tightening its focus heavily in on the action. Even beneath the chaos, lies a story about loyalty, pain and a past that still bleeds through the comedy. Truly commendable.

Seeing Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Adam Sandler arguing over the phone with each other made me tear up and burst out of laughter at the same time, one of THE best moments in film.

The Brutalist is nothing short of a grand yet intimate spectacle over the life of Lazlo Toth and those around him. While I left the first act well astounded, the proceeding almost left a rather baffling impression.
