What bores you?

1). Talking about weather. (It’s going to rain, snow, be sunny or cloudy. A tornado, tsunami, or sand storm will be a possibility. Highest probability depending on geography: Rain or Shine).

2). Sitting around watching television. (They’ve made shows about every possible scenario you can imagine. It’s happy, sad, scary or indifferent. They just switch up the antagonists from series to series).

3). Talking about what regular people are doing. (Paying bills, staying alive, eating food. Building businesses or taking care of family and wellbeing. Scrolling social media, or watching what wealthy people do, which is a glorified version of what they’re already doing by watching them do it, but with more disposable income).

4). Partying. (Celebrating genuine progress and success, or running from your deepest fear or calling in life).

5). Pretending I enjoy something I actually dislike. (I’m not as bad as I sound. Just not the best at faking the funk for the sake of continuity or convenience. Also, my bluntness can often be misconstrued as lack of empathy. I understand feeling and emotion is necessary. Humans are human. I’m just answering the prompt, instead of dancing around it. Pretending to have perfect alignment with society would be doing you a disservice).

6). Talking incessantly. (Once I reach my limits on a given topic, I need to sit with what I’ve read, what I have written, or discussed or what I will write, and discuss in the future. I also need to think about if I’m learning from mistakes or stuck in a perpetual state of insanity).

The list would be longer but I don’t feel like adding what fits into these categories as a subcategory.

The Problematic Paradox.

People enjoy discovery, and figuring out how to solve problems. Whether the problems are created intentionally, or they accumulate over time due to unforeseen circumstances, is not as important. It’s what you become throughout the process of solution development that makes you want to relive the experience all over again.

Tiffany’s Epiphany.

You create authority through experience. When you get results, in a specific area, and can replicate it, systematize it, and teach it, you’re a step closer to becoming authoritative. Doing something that others want to do, but don’t know how, is where you will thrive, and create the most value for people. Not everyone thinks the way you do. All don’t approach the problems how you approach them.

This is what creates that sense of uniqueness in you. Your ability to solve those nagging worldly problems, is your calling. You just got sidetracked into thinking it’s not important enough.

The problem you’ve been looking for.

Something happens in your life that is counterproductive to your goals. Instead of getting angry, get curious. There are things that take place in order to recalibrate our focus or perspective on what really is important. When that random thing happens think about what you’ve been asking for or wanting prior to the “negative” event. A simple example would be, “I want to make more money”.

Eventually you pray about it. Weeks later you lose your job. Eventually you apply to a job you don’t really like, but the pay is better than your previous employer. Instead of completely losing your mind, remember that you asked for more money. Now you have it.

You can collect the money until you find a better way of maintaining that new money you asked for. This is always happening to people. Unfortunately we miss it because it looks like a negative outcome. In the future, make sure you’re not glancing over your own opportunities to grow. What may look like a problem, is actually the solution you’ve been looking for the entire time.

This change…

What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

Getting someone to do something about it. Something about what you ask? Doing something about the problems that arise from all of life’s possibilities. I know that’s vague, but that’s life. A series of problems. The person best at solving them wins.

What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

Getting someone to do something about it. Something about what you ask? Doing something about the problems that arise from all of life’s possibilities. I know that’s vague, but that’s life. A series of problems. The person best at solving them wins.

You’re spoiled and you know it. Help someone else.

When you help someone else, or another person is dependent upon you, there is no self absorption. You can’t help and be helped simultaneously. Especially when you are helping those with less. Sometimes we think our problems are so much bigger than what they actually are. Well there are so many people out there that would do anything to be in your position right now, this very second.

Meanwhile you’re so busy complaining about how difficult or irritating your job is, or your partner has become. Imagine not having any of what you have now. Imagine having to ask for a few dollars just to buy a bottle of water, or a sandwich because that’s all you have left, is the ability to only ask. Be grateful for every single thing you have. Be appreciative of the difficulties, because at one point you may have had less than what you have now.

Be glad you actually have sustainable problems to solve and resources to help you achieve a better life. If you’ve forgotten what it’s like to be humble, give a helping hand to someone and stop complaining.

The implications of opinions.

Everybody has a different perspective on life. When you are considering the opinions or ideas of others, remember how differently they see things. We are all subject to cognitive bias. Hell, some of us have a little cognitive dissonance. You can’t possibly know exactly how someone else’s approach worked out for them, based on their line of thinking. We all solve problems based on our own experiences and environmental factors.

Don’t let what someone else says, influence what you ultimately want to do with your given set of circumstances.

Just get it done.

There are so many ways to solve a problem. Don’t box yourself into a traditional approach. Your path is not the same as everyone else’s.

Seek, learn, understand, implement, utilize.

Simply showing up day after day is not enough. You get to a point where implementation and execution are essential ingredients to the success formula. How can you take the information you have found, studied and understood, and turn it into positive results? How can you create a systematic process with a high success rate? Because a lot of us have information, but we’re not doing anything with it.

What is the point of having this information and not utilizing it to live your best life? When you learn something knew immediately use it in your own life. Instead of waiting until things are perfect or better. Things will never be better than what they currently are in this very moment. So as much as we plan for the future it really is the frame by frame, actions that dictate where the future may be.

Polite before the strike.

Make sure you remember to recognize before you attack, that other people are also in a fight just like you. We all have struggles, we’re all battling to find peace and prosperity. Everyone is hoping to make things better for those that come after them. Rethink going at people assuming you’re in the right, about your hidden agenda. You could end up striking the wrong chord and causing a major problem you didn’t have to begin with.

Dig In.

Often times we jump ship when things are not going the way we thought they would. This is very counterproductive. If anything, you should go a little deeper into solving the problem you’re having. The hurdles you experience, are a time to be investigative in order to figure out what needs to be adjusted. Another thing that may be hurting you, is being overly obsessive.

When things are new and fresh we are all in, and care about every little detail. When things don’t come as easy we get lazy or lackluster in our pursuit. Some of us even start looking at other avenues, industries or projects. If you say you want this, dig into the difficulties. Learn to solve your own problems.

This way you know how to solve other peoples problems when it’s time to teach or share your wisdom.

Don’t become a victim.

No matter how far you try to run. Regardless of the excuses you try to make, or reasons why you can’t, won’t, couldn’t and shouldn’t, you will have to face your problems. You mine as well decide today that you’ll do whatever it takes to conquer the all. Adapt to becoming a better problem solver. Get used to the pressure, and use the pain to fuel you.

It might take 1 year, 10 years, or even 30 years to get through it. At some point you have to take control, and decide to overcome whatever you’ve been putting off for so many years.

Problems

Problems can never be escaped. Eventually you’ll have to deal with them.

How you deal with these problems is not as important as how soon you deal with them.

Time does not always heal all.
Solutions are necessary.

Benefits of group work

Today I start working with my new i.t. intern. What will We during the creation process:

How to solve interesting problems.
How to get things done much faster than ever before.
How to become better at reading others.
How to take responsibility for our actions even when we’re not sure about our decisions.
We will learn the art of patience.
We will learn how to create humor out of almost any situation. We will learn how to speak up and be brave.
We will learn how to be completely honest.
We will learn to become better communicators.
We will learn how to make compact promises to ourselves instead of just going directly with compromising.

Here’s my challenge to you: Start a group project with one or more people. Work really hard on something the group is passionate about. See if at the end of it all you become a better person.

If you don’t work with more intelligent group members.
