10·7 days agoArrives to Early Access is kinda an important bit.
I’m sure it will be worth it, but also plenty I’m sure do not buy games before full release and would want to know that.

1·8 days agoThat’s sad, Enotria was a cool little game.
Like it wasn’t perfect or an amazing souls like but it was fun, story was interesting, and setting was cool.
Fuck man, I was talking about this exact shit today.

3·17 days agoRight? For normal user just say “download element and sign up.”
If you wanna do more than that, sure you could find a home server that isn’t matrix’s server, you could get a client that isn’t element. But like, normal users don’t gotta do all that.

Linux Questions@lemmy.zip•How's Nvidia GPUs in Linux nowadays?English
3·20 days agoLast I checked 50 series is just a lot less reliable than a 9070/XT in Linux. They should mostly work on anything with a new enough kernel but I think gamersnexus found like a 9070xt beating a 5090 in some games which is just silly, but mostly it was okay at least, and if you’re ray tracing then it’s still better even with inconsistencies. I would still probably suggest a 9070 at that price point tho.

2·1 month agoI had seen some using like rhythmbox or strawberry but couldn’t figure those out. I guess I’ll just get iTunes or whatever then shouldn’t be hard to get it running through wine, but might be annoying to set up with my music library being on a different drive.

Linux•Those who've switched to Linux in the last year, how is it going?English
3·1 month agoBeen using bazzite. It’s fine took some getting used to for a few things. Annoying that you can’t really use most posted solutions because immutable so, eh. Too lazy to swap to something else.
Biggest issues were mostly that, having to find a flatpack/appimg solution. Having to figure out DLL installs on proton tricks, setting my default mic in proton tricks, etc.
Getting an SNES emulator that works with archipelago was annoying but eventually got that working.
Can’t figure out syncing my Iphone music tho, so that is annoying.
But like… we eat a LOT of calories a day to stay alive as a whole body I can’t imagine dead bodies being enough to feed us unless the population is going down a LOT. (Like a human body has maybe 2 years worth of calories)
I would say maybe less in a coma but those humans have fully developed bodies and muscles and all, so should be consuming about the same.
And yeah, extra processing power makes more sense than battery.
Yeah I could see like the machines having to keep humans alive so this is the way to keep them from killing themselves and also proving useful for some background processing power.

Damn that’s a cool stick
