It still needs to be below freezing (give or take a few degrees, humidity is also a factor) for those snow machines to work. They blow misted water in the air which needs to freeze in the air before it hits the ground, because if it doesn’t it’ll freeze on whatever snow and ice is already on the ground and you’ll just have a sheet of ice.

Iirc, more human-compatible body language is an indicator/result of domestication. Dogs are actually a great example of this, as the wolves they were bred from aren’t nearly as emotive (Well, emotive in a way humans can understand intuitively. They’re of course very social with each other)
