GHF is an omnishambles and inefficient. Better than nothing, but if people without experience try to distribute aid, things will go badly.
Humanitarian aid is supposed to be given out to those in need for free. Sadly in Gaza [most of the aid is stolen](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5ypjd7gepmo) and Gazans need to buy it. [The UN says 86% of aid is stolen](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/un-reveals-86-of-aid-sent-to-gaza-is-stolen-before-it-can-reach-those-most-in-need/ar-AA1JUyAw). Hamas and armed groups do this for profit and to pay their fighters.
The GHF was supposed to counter that pilfering of aid by having strong armed security. The way the aid distribution sites were set up was bad. No good signage, no good crowd management tools and infrastructure, no clear communication of opening times, long walks and exposed waiting for aid seekers. Attacks on distribution centers by armed men hiding in crowds, panic, crowd rushes, trigger happy security, etc. made terrible incidents happen.
As always Palestinians are being oppressed and have to suffer from Israel and their own political leadership.
The naval blockade is legal. Hamas used to smuggle in arms by sea. That was the reason the naval blockade was instituted in 2007.Historical legality aside, from the start of the current war, it became legal to block a route for arm supplies. A naval blockade is an act of war. Hamas, which is the government of Gaza, and Israel are at war. For a naval blockade to be legal, it needs to be enforced as well. You can look all of that up.
The naval blockade and blockade of land borders are not the same. Blocking humanitarian aid is illegal under international law in most cases. There are exceptions, for when the aid gets intercepted by the opposing combatants.
The routes for humanitarian aid are by sea to Egypt or Israel and then by road, or by road from Jordan to Israel. Gaza doesn’t have a functioning port that can even be used to deliver large amounts of aid. Remember the US navy set up a temporary port at the the shore of Gaza for a while. When you said you were lacking in the mental faculties required to have this discussion, I assumed you were being dramatic for effect. The above, your inability to distinguish "objective" and "subjective", or to distinguish between an "event" and a "narrative" makes me realize you were serious.
