Vim Carnivals
What
Every month, a host picks a topic, and people write about it on their own blog. The host will write a post that summarizes, and links to any submissions made.
Why
A Vim/Neovim Carnival will help people to get out of the editor, and, eventually learn new things.
Vim has inspired many tools. This could be another source to help people to appreciate our favourite editor.
How
Each month, a new host comes up with a topic. They post it on their website, and here.
At the end of the month, the host collects all submissions, and post a summary of all of them.

Being a host
If you want to be host, but don’t want to commit to it for a specific month, you can add yourself to the list below. If a scheduled host has to back out, or if there is a month without a host, we will try to find someone from the list.
By adding yourself to the list below, you only indicate that you are willing to be asked to host on short-term notice. It does not mean that you need to accept it at that time.
Topic Ideas
- Neovim plugins
- Lua configuration
- Buffers
- Writing experience
- Taking notes
- Vim in 2030? 2040? 2050?

This is a work in progress page.
Don’t hesitate to contact me to be a host, or to propose any improvement to it.
