Dark and brooding post-punk perfection; subdued in parts; punchy in others...tracks like "Cavern" tap into the throbbing, punk vibe and reverb-laced vocals that warms my sullen, tattered heart. Some superior tracks here; no doubt HEALERS are quite familiar with the classics, though influences from multiple genres abound. Not quite as industrial or ethereal as some cold wave stuff,but post-punk/goth enthusiasts can get in line...Great record.
