OUR MISSION

Lambert Key Club is dedicated to giving back to the community, improving leadership skills, and having an impact globally. We aim to serve the community whenever possible with our various volunteering events, activities, and drives. With over 270,000 members worldwide in nearly 5,000 highschools in over 45 countries, Key Club is the largest volunteering organizations in the world, and it's one of the largest clubs at Lambert with over 250 members, almost 5 times the size of an average Key Club. Joining Key Club is not just volunteering, it's stepping into a community of passionate students, all dedicated to making the world a better place.

EVENTS

INFORMATION TO KNOW

VOLUNTEERING

10 service hours per semester at a minimum.
- 3 outside hours (events not sent by us) max per semester.
  - 1 outside hour = 0.5 service hours

PROOF OF SERVICE

The Proof of Service Form is Key Club's way of verifying your hours for an event.
It must be completed after every event that you do in order to get your hours.

Remember to get a picture of the event or a sign-in sheet!

Do NOT rely on SignUpGenius for proof of service.

MEETINGS

Members are expected to attend at least 3 meeting per semester.
- Meetings are held monthly, with there being 5 per semester.
Meetings help keep members informed of upcoming events and drives.

DELETING YOUR SIGN UP

If you're unable to make it to an event or change your mind, you must:
- Remove your name from the SignUpGenius at least 48 hours before the time slot.
  - Failure to do so will result in negative hours.
- Notify others in the GroupMe so they can take your slot.

SCHOOLHOUSE TUTORING

Schoolhouse Tutoring is great opportunity to earn lots of service hours.

You don't need to sign up for an event, and you can even do it at home!

All you need to do is create an account, and earn a certification in the subject of choice.

PVSA/LVSA

The Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is an award given to students that show full commitment to their community through their service. Key Club helps students gain, track, and verify their service hours, and any students who meet the service hour requirement within a 12-month period are elegible to receive their age-group's tier of the award. PVSA is on a temporary pause, but for now you will earn the Lambert Volunteering Service Award (LVSA) with the same tiers.
