Ang Lee (born October 23, 1954) is a world-famous film director from Taiwan. His movies are known for being very emotional and exploring feelings that people often hide. Throughout his career, he has won many awards, including two Academy Awards for Best Director. In 2003, The Guardian newspaper listed him as one of the 40 best directors in the world.
