I suggest to use the default config to test if that works, and then change bit by bit to your desired configuration. I have a community just for this kind of questions by the way ... Window Managers

I do not use hyprland anymore but this was my working config:

general {
    lock_cmd = pidof hyprlock || hyprlock -c ~/.config/hypr/hyprlock/hl-sw06.conf
    before_sleep_cmd = loginctl lock-session
    after_sleep_cmd = hyprctl dispatch dpms on
}

listener {
    timeout = 270 #270
    on-timeout = brightnessctl -s set 4000
    on-resume = brightnessctl -r
}

listener {
    timeout = 300 #300
    on-timeout = loginctl lock-session
}

listener {
    timeout = 330 #330
    on-timeout = hyprctl dispatch dpms off
    on-resume = hyprctl dispatch dpms on
}

listener {
    timeout = 600
    on-timeout = systemctl suspend
}

It is not the client, that it is actually how markdown works. Every markdown guide specifically tells to avoid this indentation because its meant for code blocks which by default do not wrap text lines.

299792458ms ,
@299792458ms@lemmy.zip avatar

I know, clients not wrapping lines in codeblocks are also "rendering properly". Wrapping it's up to the client's parser, reason why I noted to use the aproppriate syntax regardless.

Reason why I use River

I'm stuck at home for the next 9 days, what should I do?

I’m off until at least 5 Feb due to a boxers fracture. I’m getting sick of TV and movies. Today I’ll clean my apartment, but even with my busted hand it will only take a couple of hours. I can’t really go anywhere as I need to save as much money as I can to cover for missed time at work. ...

You are going to get critized whatever your political stance, even if you a a centrist who wants to unite people for the common good. Just recently saw a post comic post mocking centrism. Having a civil discussion on heated topic like politics is almost impossible now. My take is to avoid criticism if it is not contructive, otherwise its just becomes a fight.

I try to remember commands backwards by how they look(<command> <flags> <arguments>), if they are short, have capital letters and so on... Is that weird? If I give up I open the history file or my good ol' cheat sheet.

I did use it but the only real benefit for me as a hobbyist was the git status indicator on the prompt and the easy to configure prompt. The rest of the indicators did not help me since I'm not a developer. Now I just have my custom prompt with colors, and custom git info.

It does use nerd fonts for the River Logo though, I use JetBrains font so I thought might as well have some logo to aknowledge the project. Other configurations on the repomight make use of more icons.

Have a good one tinkering!
