Sunday Asides #77

This cinematic film still features an elegant older woman with long, wavy silver hair and a cream-colored coat with a plush faux-fur collar, looking toward a man whose back is to the camera. She wears a brown blouse and gold hoop earrings, her expression one of firm expectation or slight impatience as she speaks. At the bottom of the frame, white subtitles read, "Don't make me late." The lighting is soft and warm, characteristic of a high-end television drama, set against a neutral, sophisticated interior that enhances the scene's mood of domestic urgency.

Don't Circle Back

It's almost 10:00pm ET, and I'm about to go to bed and read a book. But I managed to finish this 15x15 puzzle I've been noodling on since the year started so here ya go.

Enjoy!

Sunday Asides #76

A vibrant vision board on a brown corkboard is covered with various magazine cutouts, phrases, and graphics pinned haphazardly with silver staples. The collage features inspirational and lifestyle-oriented text such as "The One and Only," "THE GOOD LIFE," "Peace," "LEGACY," and "Hold On to Your Smile," alongside travel-related snippets like "Vacation" and "Exciting Escapades." Centrally located is a graphic of four battery icons in varying states of charge, with the fullest green battery showing two figures helping each other climb to the top. The overall style is eclectic and aspirational, capturing a DIY, motivational mood focused on personal growth, financial health, and future adventures.

alpha

Happy new year! I'm starting off 2026 with my new 9x9 alphabet grid series, and I'm taking things up a notch. This series is going to be centered around the Greek alphabet...capitals only. (Whew!) You might see some grids make a comeback, but you can also expect to see a few clever twists and turns in the future. You'll have to stick around and see them when they come.

In the meantime, my first puzzle alpha is ready for you to solve it. Give it a go!
