JourneyApps was founded in 2009 and initially created the JourneyApps Platform, a full-stack rapid app development platform. In 2023, JourneyApps spun off its database sync engine, PowerSync, as a standalone product. JourneyApps is focused on providing this suite of software development tools to developers. Some of the largest companies in the world that form the backbone of the global economy rely on JourneyApps' software technologies to power their business operations.
