am i playing wrong or it's incredibly hard to move past the first or second screens? it takes like 6 hits to break a tile, and the hole sometimes is several tiles away, and the timer is unforgiving. Maybe disable the timer until the game actually picks some momentum and let us get accustomed to the mechanics for a few levels?
i figured it out some minutes later and i got to beat a few levels. Cool game but the powerups should have some sort of "CLICK ME YOU HAVE ENOUGH THINGIES!" i didn't know i was able to upgrade for several minutes
omg this was so cool! my only complaint would be having to wait out the full time to come back to the surface instead of an option to come back whenever. I lost track of time playing this it was so fun :)
very fun, and so well polished. i wish there were more options in the tree, and honestly that's literally it- i wanted to try specializing in certain "builds" but that's not really a thing right now. after about 40 minutes(?) i had unlocked everything in the tree (reluctantly, because i just had nothing else to spend my resources on), but the game was great!
The best game on itch.io that I've found since a looooong time, great job! Almost everything in this game is absolute perfection: the artstyle is very cute (I absolutely adore these little creatures), sound design is top notch and the main gameplay loop is also very well designed. The feel of almost constant progress and being able to go even deeper with each expedition feels very rewarding and satisfying. Can't wait for the full release!

Though, it can be pretty frustrating to direct the miniohs in the midgame, since you can't tell them anything like "go there" other than throwing them one by one. In the end I just had to make them strong enough to just delete everything in their path. If throwing the bag at a block told them "hey, help me mine this block together" that would make it smoother, maybe?
Oh this is quite fun. Sorta craved an option to put equipment on the bag, because managing the bag is sorta important and for example if the bag is stuck somewhere far away, sonic hat could be working on the walls around itself, being not such a penalty that you have to sidequest to the other corner of the map. Or maybe tactically leaving it at the end of a stripmine while you deal with the bigger volume.
more equipment, like boots, maybe to deal with new dangers. Floor spikes padded boots, lava floor heat resistant boots, ice floor spiky boots.
Only glitch i found was standing still while two minions approach creating a loud cascading noise as the minions were "z-fighting" for their little selection chirp sound.
Throwing a potion raises a dead minion, but their AI does not turn on so they remain standing there like they are still dead.
I want to sell the unused equipment. Eventually i maxed out the tree and got more minions and was able to distribute it. But i genuenly thrown a piece of equipment into the hole, hoping it would give something. Maybe it giving a chance for appearing as a new chest to reroll the piece for something else?
More upgrades. The upgrade icons were pretty much hard to read. I don't like the feeling of just random upgrading the tree because i didn't undertand what does what and there was really no agency in not just grabbing the upgrades that i can afford right now, making the shop system sorta obsolete and uninteresting after you consistently reach level 3. Maybe stronger art on the pictures would communicate more. Low key want a huge upgrade tree with multiple patch with key elements being at the tips or something. The forge is pretty fine, shop needs more love.
Thanks for reporting! It has been fixed in the new update. Also, save should be working. When you play the game again, you should see a “Continue” option on the menu. Isn’t it working yet for you?

yes you are not supposed to use the bag you are supposed to increase the population and use them to mine

When you finally start mixing and matching all the equipment, the game feels amazing, but the early game is painfully slow until the first chest.
Fun game, the UI is so sleek and polished!
great game, just one issue, on the windows version pressing f2 increases your number of green thingies and f3 your number of tentacles!

Accidently opened the shop while going down, can't access it anymore, since there is no save, lost my progress.
