okay okay, buckle up guys, and forgive me because this might end up longer than anticipated.
first of all, i absolutely loved this game. i played all the routes, and i just cant believe how beautiful it was. the writing, the art and the music. just wonderful. i played aeden's route first and i ADORE him more than i can put into words. his charm, his eyes, his everything. but dont get me wrong, the other routes didnt go unloved by me either. but aeden absolutely captured my heart. i love him so so much.
okay, love for aeden aside, the interactions between the characters is just so mwah. the night queen was unsettled me even from the beginning, and her design is absolutely gorgeous. i also love how each route isnt just essentialy reheated nachos. the routes were all fleshed out so well, and i was fully immersed in each one. especially aedens. cause i love aeden. i was wondering how each plot point would be executed for each character, and it was just executed so well. mind you, the entire time, i was torn between looking at the mc or looking at whoever else was on the screen. whoever drew the art deserves the world because WOW is the mc absolutely gorgeous. and aeden. because (we all know what im going to say, dont we?) i love aeden.
ok this is getting long and annoying but i just love talking, if you havent noticed. im so glad i played all of the routes, because despite lucas not being my usual type, i loved playing his route so much. i love his biceps i meant his personality very, very much. i just love the way he interacts with the mc and his biceps. i mean well i love the way all of the guys interact with her, but what can i say. biceps. i also loveddd dragan omg even if it felt like a victorian woman flashing her ankles if i saw a sliver of his skin. i love stoic guys when they go at least a little soft and lovey for the mc, and dragan definitely scratched the stoic itch.
yup ok i had a lot more to say but to sum it up i love the art i love the music i love the writing and i loved this game so so so much and its really an underrated gem and people need to play this game NOW. if youre still reading this, thank you because i waffle quite a bit. i love this game and everything about it. okay im signing off now... okay??? i love aeden, if you couldnt tell... okay?
one last note, i promise, the twilight mention made me laugh aloud.

I'm also over the moon that you enjoyed the art so much! Whenever I play games with a character creator, I always try to make my character as pretty as I can and give her lots of cute outfits, haha, so that was my goal when I was designing Astora. :) I'm so glad she drew your attention as much as the others!
It was really fun shaping the world and all the character interactions, and finding a unique way for each of the love interests to approach the MC. The fact that you found each route to be well-done and not copy-pasta made me squeal with delight! I wrote the script very quickly so there was some overlap, but I wanted to make each route feel as unique as possible under the circumstances.

Great game, i played Dragan's route last bc stoic guys are my least favorite but the writing here is so good he suprised me. I love all 3 guys, such well made game, the writing is top tier, i am so glad i played this! The fancy font (from the menu and chapter titles) was hard to decypher on the beginning lmao it can be nice to have an option to change to another font in your future projects if possible.

I just finished my first playthrough and it was so good! If you pick the fae prince to romance, it's VERY Feyre and Rhysand coded but that just made me love it all the more! I can't wait to play the other two routes and see how the story differs.

The reason why I didn't include the choice in Aeden's route was, in my mind, Astora was always more fae than human. Treating her true name as a secret thing like other fae do was simply her natural thought process, which made offering it to Aeden so symbolic because, even though it doesn't have the same power, it has the same significance. For Astora, her true name is just one of her names, like it is with the other fae. :) I think she has this mindset even on the other routes, but because she's choosing to follow her heart out of Faerie and be something more than just fae, I thought the choice about her name would give the player a way to reflect how they felt her mindset might be evolving. Whereas on Aeden's route, she's just continuing to be who she's always truly been: a faerie lady!

Hello, I don't know if it's just me - but I can't download the game. It just goes to 'thank you for downloading ' page with the download not starting. I've tried this in two devices with the same result.

I'm using Firefox, but tried using chrome too - didn't work. I've tried downloading other games from itch.io too faced the same issue. It was working fine till yesterday evening. I don't know what the problem is.
That's really strange that it just stopped working like that. I tried looking into it, some people had this issue too, where they were able to download games one day but the next it stopped working. They said when they used a VPN, it worked, and that it had something to do with their ISP doing shady things. It seems like sometimes the service goes back to normal within a few days. So maybe wait a day or two or you could try a VPN. I'm sorry this is happening! :(

VPN it is then, I really want to play Evernight and I rarely get days off - can't afford to wait
