Transaction Private Notes

With this feature, you are able to tag any transaction on the Ethereum blockchain with a private name tag for your personal reference (these name tags are only visible to you once you have logged in to your Etherscan account).

To access this feature, please refer to the steps below:

1. Login to your account here

2. Search for the transaction that you are looking to tag by pasting its transaction hash into our search bar

3. At the Transaction Details page, you will find a section in which you can enter the Private Note (see the highlighted section in the screenshot below)
