Yes. We can source a multitude of products that are not currently listed on our website. In instances like this, just ask! Please note however that there are also many Amazon-stocked products that we cannot sell. Commercially speaking, architects, designers, engineers, fabricators, hobbyists, makerspaces, and manufacturers regularly depend on iDESIGN 365 for their software needs. Non-academic discounts will be noted within individual qualifying product descriptions. Education-wise, K-12 students, college and university students, current faculty/staff members, other academic institutions, and non-profit organizations also qualify for education discounts. Academic discounts will be noted within individual qualifying product descriptions.
There is NO difference in the product functionality of the education software and the commercial version. Some vendors add “education use” watermarks to their software output. The watermarked editions offer the same functionality as the professional version but are not suitable for a professional production environment. Please read individual product notes for details.
Rest assured that iDESIGN 365 is an authorized reseller for every product we carry. Therefore, you will always own a legal license for any software you purchase from us.
Yes. Proof of academic status is a requirement. No order will be processed until proof is received. We reserve the right to hold all orders pending student/faculty verifications.
Upon placing an order with iDESIGN 365, you are requested to provide this information by uploading student identification. For example, a student card or a course outline, when you place your order.
Your order status, including the status of the receipt and acceptance of academic document, will be updated on our website. It’ll take approximately 24 to 48 hours for the delivery of your software purchase.

Requests are reviewed case-by-case within 5 business days after price verification. We’re unable to match closeouts or loss-leader pricing. If you are a first time or returning customer, please create or update your account information including adding your tax exemption number. Once you complete your order, taxes will not reflect your tax exemption until we receive your tax-exempt form that you will submit by replying to the order acknowledgement email. We will then make the necessary adjustments. For future orders, your account will automatically be flagged as tax-exempt, and the correct tax rate will be applied. Customers may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by iDESIGN 365 within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less 20% restocking fee. If the return is a result of our error, you’ll receive a full refund, and we’ll cover the return shipping costs. Items should be returned in their original product packaging.
Your refund will be issued once we’ve received and processed the returned item. You can expect to receive your refund within 4 weeks of receiving the return – though in many cases you’ll receive the refund sooner.

iDESIGN 365 does not accept returns of the following items:
Computer laptops, desktops, and peripherals more than 30 days after delivery Any product missing the serial number or UPC Downloadable software products Any opened product. Software that has been registered and/or activated. Gift cards, Pay as you go (or prepaid) technical support services, Exchanges Glowforge, Emblaser, MakerBot, Afinia and Dremel products. Please note that iDESIGN 365 reserves the right to not allow a return of a product.
If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item to iDESIGN 365 Inc. You will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item and place another order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.
Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at iDESIGN 365.
We are happy to accept returns for large items that are shipped via our specialty shippers. These items do require a special type of return and cannot be returned with a pre-paid return mailing label like standard shipments. If you need to return an item shipped via a specialty shipper, please email to request a return. We will follow up with instructions for returning the item. Please note that any return that is not the result of our error will be subject to a return shipping fee which will be deducted from the refund.
