During the National week Celebration 2017 of Gill Nagar various programs organized to motivate the reading habits among the students of KV Gill Nagar.  Among all the competitions organized, “Book Adventure” Online Quiz competition more than 100 students participated and it was an enrich experience for the students and the teachers. I was surprised to see the colourfull posters of the book reviews created by the students after the project it is only because of our Librarian Mr. Alok Jaiswal who encouraged the children to participate with great enthusiasm and utilizing the features of digital library by encouraging the habit of reading among the children.

The success of the competition is because of the tireless and dedicated work of the Librarian for the past three years.  I wish that more number of students participate in the “book adventure” with Mr. Alok Jaiswal and enrich themselves.

The online Book adventure Quiz competition is a ‘Giantv leap’ for the community. The enthusiasm shown by the students is a clear proof of the driving force behind it namely the librarian of the vidyalaya shri Alok Jaiswal . project based learning , is making of book review posters has taken the children to yet another higher realm of learning things by doing. The systemetic way in which the librarian has gradually led and shown children the wonders of reading  is noteworthy. ‘Reading maketh a full man.’ Says francis Bacon. In connection with the National Book week, the spirit of enthusiasm revealed by the children in the pilot project of online book adventure quiz is amazing . the project initiated by Sh  Alok Jaiswal the back bone behind the behind the library department, lays a strong foundation for the children pondering for a book. This induces the creative ind to expose their talents. The book reviews displayed by the children are awesome. Hope to catch right of more and more of such innovation in near future. The National Book Week  programme was organized in our Vidyalaya. It was an enriching and enlightening experience for the students and the teachers. Various competitions were organized on this occasion. The special attraction was the online Book Adventure Quiz. Many students participated with great enthusiasm. This competition gave the students an opportunity to answer the quiz on the book of their choice. The motivation and encouragement of the librarian, Shri. Alok Jaiswal is laudable. His ceaseless efforts to conduct such programmes has revived the reading habit among the students. I wish that the students get more and more such opportunities to enlighten themselves and to become voracious readers.
