Have you seen the prices of indie games coming out? Many are $5 to $20 and are far better than AAA games. What argument do they have that’s preventing games lowering their prices?

If they dig into this, I’m sure they’ll find greedy publishers to be the problem.

It’s simple. No electric. Front or back option with a knob. You really don’t notice the cold. I’m debating buying a second one for my other bathroom.

I’m a steam and gog fan.

I use steam for the ability to plug in any controller I want and instantly be able to use it. I can download controller maps from the community on the fly.
I can stream straight to my TV and play in any room with a TV in it with zero effort. I can join my friends games with two clicks. Remote play allows you to play games you don’t even own with your friends. Works on linux. Integrated workshop. Easy modding.

I use gog for older games not on steam. Works on linux. (Heroic at least)

I could go on with steam, but those are the key points stands alone games don’t offer.

I’m all for rulings against anti competition, but what does valve do that’s actually anti-competitive? They’re the most user focused storefront out there.

Are they stating AAA games have increased in cost because of this? I’ve noticed a lot of new games are $70 to $100+, but I’ve associated those with shitty companies being greedy.

Different distros have different bells and whistles. Mint is a long term stable distro, but comes with a dated feel. Which is great for some. I’ve used it for about a year.

I have a wired Logitech x-540 setup with front left/right and a sub plugged into their respective ports on the mobo.

I have to remove the suspend node on my mint and endeavor setup.

Why does pipewire suspend audio sources by default? This causes a popping sound everytime audio turns back on (~5 seconds).

It took me a while to figure out how to fix this the first time and is a nuisance for anyone trying to learn linux.

At this point, he’s just an embarrassment. We need to hold him accountable and the world needs to stop censoring what’s really happening.

I’m about a year in. I started with mint and I’m on endeavor now. It can be a bit fiddly to get setup. Once setup it behaves the same way, but less ads and copilot/edge aren’t forced on you non stop.

The only issue we have is anticheat, and that only affects games like battlefield/cod. So not much of a loss there.
