I feel you on that. The first time I set it up, it me forever. I finally figured out the issue was it was not picking up the right IP address for my server. Once I fixed that, and knew to look for that in the future, no issues. I tore my whole server down last weekend, and transferred all the drives to a different setup, rebuilt the server and have everything working, logged back in on all my devices in an hour tops. Everyones milage will very though

How so? I have way less issues with jellyfin than I did with Plex. I think with jellyfin you just need to RTFM and find some plugins to expand the functionality if you need it

I think you are right about most of the things you are saying. But for all the bad to trickel down to the troops will take years.

I was in the Marine corps for 10 years. I can’t tell you who the generals where back then. It didn’t really matter, all the training is done by experts at much lower ranks.

So my point is, that while yes the upper leadership is bad, the acually boots on the ground soldiers still know how to fight as well as they did a few years ago. It could take years for the rot at the top to creep down through all levels.

I have been feeling the same way. I am kinda in a " I hope it all burns down. Then they will understand how stupid they are" mood about things as of late.

Fair point. Do you know if they where using the open source driver for thr graphics card? Or Nvidia’s proprietary one? Because I’m on Fedora using the Nvidia driver and I dont notice that much of a fps drop. It is some, maybe 5-10%

Why does the 4070 super keep you from switching to Linux? I have a gaming PC with a 4070 and I dont really have issues. No more than I did with windows in general

I think you are missing the point of what people are upset about. Its not defending the porn industry (though sex work is work and should be seen as a legit job) its more about the age verification not being about protecting kids. Its about censorship and eroding frradom of speech
