Childebert II Ara Eve Leo Sal 1x Childebert II (c. 570–596) was a Merovingian king who ruled Austrasia from 575 until his death and Burgundy from 592 onward.[1] The son of Sigebert I and Brunhilda, he ascended the throne at approximately five years old following his father's
