This page provides the term dates for all States schools until July 2029.
In addition to the dates below, each school can award an extra inset day for its students/pupils, in order to facilitate a Professional Development Day (PDD). Schools will advise parents and carers of this additional PDD day.
Please note parents/carers will be advised directly by schools at least one term in advance when in the school year, the additional Professional Development Day will take place.

Guidance Notes
1. The School Calendar for students is usually 189 days. However, when Liberation Day bank holiday falls on a weekday (i.e. Monday - Friday), students will usually attend for 188 days.
2. In addition, staff attend 5 inset days per academic year. Two of these will be at the beginning of the new school year in September, one each at the beginning of the spring and summer term and one additional day which is set by schools. Therefore staff work 194 days except when Liberation Day bank holiday falls on a weekday when they will work 193 days.
