Upcoming Construction Projects
We will be constructing the Confluence Reach of the Lower Green Valley Creek Off-Channel Habitat Enhancement Project on two private properties in summer 2026. The project will contribute to coho salmon and steelhead trout recovery in the Russian River watershed by creating and connecting off-channel habitat along Green Valley Creek to provide a refuge from high flows and serve as winter foraging habitat for juvenile fish. You can learn more about the project here: Confluence Reach of the Lower Green Valley Creek Off-Channel Habitat Enhancement Project – Gold Ridge Resource Conservation District. A Request for Bids for construction and a Request for Bids for revegetation installation and maintenance are currently posted above under Requests for Qualifications, Proposals, and Bids.
