My name is Jerrion Burton-Gilmore,
I am a black entrepreneur locally known as “The Hood Amazon” as I am a man of multiple trades and hustles. I promote health by selling sea moss, sell shoes, dinner plates, and more. Along with being an entrepreneur, I assist my mother with my younger siblings by transporting them to their extracurricular activities as she works long hours. I am also a father that supports his daughter in soccer, cheer, and school. Overall, my car is essentially needed to support my family and my business.
On June 17th, 2021, I endured a traumatizing experience which has set back my business and has made me inactive to help my mom and daughter. When delivering shoes to a client, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Somebody shot at me and my car over 20 times. Although I was not hit by any bullets, it resulted in my car becoming a total loss from the multiple bullets sprayed throughout my engine, battery, and more. Along with this, I endured slight injuries such as cuts on my body resulting in multiple stitches.
Since such events, I have been set back in both my professional and personal life. Any donations to help me get back on my feet and get my business back striving would be greatly appreciated!
