My cat, Cleo, started vomiting excessively on Wednesday 4/1. She vomited 4-5 times in a span of 12 hours, and became increasingly more lethargic as the night went on. After chatting with a vet on Chewy, it was recommended she visit an ER vet. She was seen by one, however, we could not afford an entire diagnostic work-up. She was given subcutaneous fluids and a strong anti-vomiting medicine which brought her some relief for the last few days. She began eating small amounts yesterday, and we suspect she finally used the litter box earlier today. It’s hard to know for certain because we have two other cats.
Cleo has a follow-up appointment with her home vet on 4/28, but we have no spare funds if she gets worse before then. This is just a backup plan in case she declines again due to an unknown reason. All funds will go towards her vet care to ensure she is healthy & well. Anything helps. Thank you for reading.
